A FEW SIMPLE RULES

The art of the hunt.

The fox starts in the center. Thirteen geese fill the bottom arm and the entire row beside it. Geese always move first.

The Geese

Move one goose to an empty connected point, sideways or forward toward the top of the board—including forward diagonals where drawn. Never move backward, jump, or capture. Trap the fox so it has no move or capture at the beginning of its turn.

The Fox

Move one connected point in any direction. Or jump over an adjacent goose along a straight drawn line to the empty point immediately beyond, removing that goose. Continue with another jump if you wish, or choose “End capture turn.” Capturing is always optional. Reach five remaining geese to win immediately.

Only the engraved lines are paths. Glowing rings show your legal destinations; amber rings mark captures. Undo takes back your last turn and the computer’s reply.
